CLA Co-sponsors Social Gathering at ALA Midwinter 2015 Conference

CLA is partnering with ATLA and the Association of Jewish Libraries (AJL) to present a Social Gathering for members and friends during the upcoming ALA Midwinter 2015 Conference.

The Greater New Orleans CLA Spring Conference Friday, March 6

The Greater New Orleans Catholic Library Association Spring Conference will take place on Friday, March 6, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Archbishop Chapelle High School, 8800 Veterans Memorial Boulevard Metairie, LA 70003

Katy Simpson Smith, author, will discuss her books: We Have Raised All of You: Motherhood in the South, 1750-1835 and The Story of Land and Sea: A Novel. Maple Street Book Shop will be selling copies of these titles at the event. The Library of Congress Teaching with Primary Sources Program will be discussed and librarians will have an opportunity for hands on practice using the resources. Please bring an iPad, laptop, or smart phone.
