Professional Development Day for Librarians and Support Staff at St. John’s University
Countless studies have shown that students achieve at higher levels when their school library programs are effective and partnered with subject area teachers. Both interrelated instruction and professionally selected materials relevant to instruction are the domain of the school librarian/media specialist.
The School Librarian in the Core Curriculum is a special day planned on Saturday, October 4th, at St. John’s University Library D’Angelo Center for library staff from the Diocese of Brooklyn and Rockville Centre.
