Catholic Library Association Office Will Move to Chicago

In June 2011 CLA will move its headquarters from Pittsfield, Massachusetts to Chicago in order to consolidate CLA and the office of its Catholic Periodical and Literature Index (CPLI) in a single location. The new address at 205 West Monroe Street is situated near all bus, subway and railway lines in Chicago’s downtown area.

Deep in the Heart of Texas - CLA 2013 Convention

NCEA has announced that the 2013 NCEA/CLA Convention will be held in Houston, Texas from April 2-4, 2013. The Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston will serve as the host. Over the past few years the archdiocese has been flourishing with the opening of a new co-cathedral in Houston and the appointment of  Archbishop Daniel DiNardo as Cardinal in 2007. We look forward to joining the Bishop Byrne Chapter, CLA's local chapter, in discovering Houston.

The Center for the Study of Information and Religion (CSIR) will host its Second Annual International Conference on Information and Religion in May 2012. This call for papers seeks original contributions in all areas related to information and religion. The conference theme invites participants to share their work in a variety of areas in which scholars are exploring the intersections of religion and information.
