The Williams building, as it is known, is owned by the Claretian Missionaries USA. Besides housing the offices of the Claretian-sponsored US Catholic magazine and the St. Jude League, building tenants include the Catholic Press Association. Built in 1898 by the noted Chicago architectural firm of Holabird and Roche, the building is part of a vibrant revitalized West Loop location with the Willis (formerly Sears) Tower one block away. The new Chicago address offers CLA proximity to other library and archive organization centers and the ability to serve its membership in a central geographic location.
