Aggiornamento Award

The Aggiornamento Award, established in 1980, is presented by the Parish and Community Library Services Section through the Aggiornamento Award Committee. It is awarded annually in recognition of an outstanding contribution made by an individual or an organization for the renewal of parish and community life in the spirit of Blessed John XXIII (1881-1963).

Fr. Patrick MartinThe Catholic Library Association is excited to announce Fr. James Martin as the 2018 Aggiornamento Award Recipient. Father Martin is a Jesuit priest, editor at large of America Media, consultor to the Vatican's Secretariat for Communication and author of many books, including Jesus: A Pilgrimage, My Life with the Saints and The Jesuit Guide to (Almost) Everything. Fr. Martin will provide a recorded presentation accepting this honor at the Spring 2018 Virtual Convention.
