2021 Spring Virtual Conference Keynote Speaker – Rev. Dennis H. Holtschneider, CM
Rev. Dennis Holtschneider, CM is president of the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities (ACCU). A frequent writer and consultant on the issues facing Catholic higher education, Fr. Holtschneider has taught higher education history and policy at St. John’s University (NY) and SUNY Buffalo, and currently lectures on higher education strategy at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Fr. Holtschneider served as president of DePaul University from 2004-2017 and holds degrees in mathematics, theology and higher education policy. His first book, Challenges in Librarianship (2003), was written with Elizabeth Pollicino and Nancy Becker, though he is quick to point out that he contributed the section on case study teaching, and not the actual challenges facing libraries.
